BBS Marans

These beautiful birds lay a Nice Chocolate egg and some are even speckled! I feel like our Black copper girls lay the darker eggs and the splash girl lays a lighter egg. We don't have any blue girls yet but I hope to this year. 

Our girls are super friendly, (usually all of our birds are since we hatch our own) they're raised with love and kids that hold them frequently and turn out fantastic. They are great foragers as well and have some nice fluff on their legs. I have never had even a rooster that was unfriendly....actually they're nicer than the hens. If you're wanting a friendly bird and some beautiful eggs this is the breed for you!
